Owners
Alicia Orbea, Cassandra Haggert, and Lynn Ellen Gaffin are licensed by the Florida Department of Health and Nationally Certified Health Care Practicioners by the National Certificaton Board of Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork. All three graduated with excellence from The Humanities Center School of Massage in Pinellas Park, FL. They are all certified in neuromuscular therapies, including deep tissue,
positional release, trigger point, and muscle energy technique.
Alicia
has always been intrigued by the medical field and knew even before attending massage therapy school that
she wanted to own a business. She began her career as a massage therapist working in a physical therapy clinic
under Kirsten Snellenberg; one of her massage instructors and a well respected physical therapist in the Tampa Bay area.
After honing her hands on skills and learning a great deal from her mentor, she, Cassandra, and Lynn Ellen focused
their energies on opening a massage practice. In addition to her Certification in Neuromuscular Therapies, Alicia has
since studied Advanced Myofacial Release under John F Barnes PT.
Cassandra aspired
to work in the health care field ever since elementary school. She also aspired to own a business.
After graduating at the top of her class, Cassandra started out assisting a local chiropractor. She has received
certification in pregnancy massage through Kate Jordan's Bodywork for the Childbearing Year and is certified to teach Infant Massage to parent's and caregiver's through Infant Massage USA. She is a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals ABMP and the Tampa Bay Birth Network. She is a native Floridian born and raised in Largo, Fl.
Lynn Ellen's dream of establishing a healing arts center evolved during her 22 years in custom
software development, corporate management, and consulting. Immediately following completion of her massage curriculum,
she assumed Director of Education responsibilities for the school. She stepped down in July in order to focus on more
quickly building The Art of Touch practice. She continues to instruct massage practice and career development education
classes. Lynn Ellen offers a unique style, incorporating her neuromuscular certification along with training in
Thai Herbal Compress. She is a member of The American Massage Therapy Association AMTA.
